For Roo's Birthday Geoffrey made him a Cake.We had a great time with Roo.

The Bassinet Tradition Continues

The Maxwell kids with Baby Benjamin on his last day in the family bassinet. It all started with Abbie and has been used by all Zohner grandkids. Karen made the skirt and lining, so we always think of Grandma Max and know she is close by, watching the babies as they sleep. Benjamin was the seventh Zohner grandchild to use it and spent his last day in it on 07-07-07 before it headed out to Colorado to await the arrival of the new Hemphill baby!

The Way We Move

A quick look at our most used mode of transportation these days. Nattie and Ben love the double stroller --- it usually puts the little man out.

Mr. Personality

Yes, Benjamin is coming out of his shell and showing us a little of what he is made of. He is a happy little guy most of the time and loves playing Patty Cake. Abbie and Zoe enjoy trying to get him to smile ... Nattie does, too, but for some reason her efforts (re: squeezing his cheeks) typically make him cry.

June Showers - July flowers

We received 8.33 inches of rain in June -- twice the normal amount. This was a blessing for my much-negelected flowers which usually have to beg for a drink. Great job on planting these, Ruthie and Zoe!

Here's to 25

I had a great 25th. Thank you all for the calls. I missed everyone, but managed to have a good time. This was a Country Club theme party. As you can see some outfits like mine we very mediocre, but some people really got into it.

A couple pictures from my fourth of July in the Belmont Shore area of Long Beach. We went to some friends' houses, then rode our bikes along the beach and staked out a place on the beach to watch the fireworks. We took pics of the fireworks but they turned out bad.

The Brew

Earlier in June my classmate Alex and I got the idea that it would be fun to brew our own beer. Over all it was a fun experience, but we tried the beer earlier this week and we jumped the gun on the tasting and need to let it ferment a couple more weeks. The above picture is of me adding the malt to the mixture.
